everything is good but something thats scares me is the FI engine
Bajaj withdraw Fi from pulsar 220, Same way its a big flop in Honda stunner Fi and Hero honda Glamour FI.
I am not rich enough that i can take a chance of spending Rs 1,00,000 on a mc whos engine is on a trail basis and i dont want to be a part of that trial. My old karizma was stolen a month ago and i am sure i will go for Karizma R whenever i’ll get a insurance claims.

awesome bike dude i like it very much.i’m great fan of super bikes but i cant afford the bike even which costs about rs.50000 but i’ve great knoledge of bikes.the new karizma zmr is really sporty bike i think hero honda must launch any 200-250cc cruise bike to lead bajaj and yamaha but overall its amazing bike it’ll hit the 200cc bikes market n ofcourse defeat the pulsar 220cc bike.i hate pulsar just becoz of its big sound and it get increase with da bikes age i hope karizma dose’nt sound like this.
Bajaj pulsar is still the largest selling premium category of bikes in India. unlike karizma it started all its innovations after pulsar 200 release. because it could beat karizma in highways. i don know about ZMR but the headlight really sucks. Hero Honda never come with innovations. they bring new models with same old engine like Splendor and Passion have the same engine..ho ho now they have added “pro” to it. they roled out Fi engine of 125cc segment but they stopped due to lot of trouble. they released CBZ then CBZ star then CBZ Xtreme.. wat a shame nothing clicked. then the so called HUNK, even then it was rated more stylish its so funny tat peolpe didint choose tat bike. BAJAJ always rocks.. Hamara Bajaj.. all those Hero Honda and Yamaha lovers watch now there ‘NINJA’ gonna come…
Dude… i thnk till now u have not ride the karizma… compare to pulsar karizma is far better. When it comes to performance all credit goes to Hero Honda…. Pulsar is very poor in performance. It makes a lot of noise while riding the bike and changing the gear. The biggest problem of the bajaj is Gear and Sound problem
don rate pulsar of its sound but the Dual Quality tat pulsar delivers its unimaginable.. tremendous mileage and awesome power… The new 200cc pulsar beats karizma R in highways.. Pulsar 220 is the fastest Indian..its purely indian..unlike hero honda it buys most of it from honda japan..how sad.. wen an Indian can deliver more.. y buying a japanese one.. if u still wanna buy japanese then i would suggest NINJA 250.. guys go for it Second fastest in the world after Hayabusas.. yamahas not even close..

Karizma changed its name from Karizma to Karizma R and ZM added B4 R.. which letters r next.. any of the guys commented praising Karizma as a so called “GOD” should get a chance to name the nxt Karizma… its so funny to hear these letters.. similar CBZ…then CBZ star and now CBZ xtreme.. v have to wait for the HUNK to have those letters B4 or after… Pulsar DTS-i is a technology name or an engine name in simple terms..

i own bajaj pulsar 150cc[old model-round haed light], pulsar 150dts, yamaha rx120 and honda aviator[disc model]
coming to services bajaj sucks while honda still is best. yamaha bikes are so standard bikes that my ride still runs at 100kmph. many says karizma is high maintained bike and low power but here is my experience
me and my friends started a road trip from hyderabad to vijayawada distance is approx 600kms up and down and the bikes are pulsar 180cc digital meter one, pulsar 200cc, honda aviator[mine], yamaha fz, cbz xtreme and unicorn new model
both the bajaj bikes are dead at suryapet itself and we at to push 200cc one to start it. yamaha had gone well but milege made us cry, unicorn had overheated and we let ity cool in vijayawada, while mine and xtreme are still in performance which suprised us. from that day my friends who teased me for buying a moped started respecting me
base line-hamara bajaj is actually a reverse engineered technology of europeans while dak dak go[hero honda] is still best bike manufacturer of india.
notice buddies out of 10bikes in india 6 are of hero honda and honda
It was really nice to read your post, regarding the performance of the bikes you all have mentioned, you should also know the technical specs of each bike and make.
Pulsar –> Pure marketing bike (power+ mileage). performance is always speculated.
Honda –> A consistant bike that offers good riding experince. Performance is good until you dont push the bike to the limit.
Yamaha –> A pure performance oriented bike, lacks in mileage, you can push the bike to the limit and still see that the bike will not shudder.
These are the three view of the company that makes the bike.
in our point of view we need to analyse what kind of bike suits us rather than fight which is good or great.
comparing a 4 stroke milege with a 2 stroke bike is stupidity, why dont you compare Karizma with R15, i bet you will change your opinion.
I previously owned a 2 stroke Max 100, the mileage was good i used to travel from bangalore to Mysore the bike did well and returned a milage of 49 Kms per ltr.
Now i own Yamaha R15 and i do the same travelling(Bangalore-Mysore and back) every weekend. the bike returns me a good milage of 43-45, my journey is around 2 and half hours one way, considering the leaving the city the time taken by me is pretty fast. the bike does very well (no car over takes me untill they are in real hurry ).
I had borrowed pulsar from my friends for the same journey, the bike managed to do the trip however was bit rough, thats all, returned a milage of 60 (pulsar 150 CC).
My friend once came along with me on his Hero honda splendour, and it returned a milage of 65, but the bike was slow and we got bored.
It depends on the rider to ride the bike, all bikes are capable of making 600 Km everyday if you can understand the riding technics of the bike.
However i prefer Yamaha R15 for fast riding and performance, milage i would prefer pulsar, for ride quality i would prefer either yamaha or Honda.
Honda has scope for improvement, they are very slow in the their R&D or probably their marketing statregies do not allow them to release new bike for indian roads.
It is seen that Sales for R15 is greater that Karizma ZMR.
even though Karizma id 223 CC, 17 Bhp
ZMR may be look koool .. i test rided it engine performance is same like old1 Karizma R yea it seems ok for touring …… better go for 220 i rode it, it was just wrooooom i think p220 vs r15 no chance for ZMR !!

ITS SPEED,LOOK,STYLE TOUCH THE SOUL.other bikes are not comperable to karizma.BECAZ KARIZMA IS MOST BELIEVABLE BIKE OF INDIA,I LOVE ITS EVERY KARIZMATIC QUALITY.

Karizma zmr it is beauty but its not coming out, i booked on 30th Oct-09 i asked Person in showroom they sed Delivery will start in 2nd week in Feb2010 also he sed that Bookings is closed for first Phase, its very hard to wait after seeing that beauty in showroom, i am really waiting to put my hands on it……..
Bajaj launched DTSi technology 4 years back & now hero honda came with pgmfi, were they sleeping till now. Hero honda was good few years back but now they r no where in the competetion with big names like BAJAJ, YAMAHA, KAVASAKI, TVS, SUZUKI & HONDA

You have no idea about Pulsar’s Fuel Economy.
DTS-i Technology offers the best mileage in its class.
Pulsar 150 gives somewhere between 55~60 KMPL and P180 gives 45~50 KMPL. My 180 gives 52KMPL Solid irrespective of the speed i drive.
I bet no other 150 and above segment brands will return such great fuel efficiency without compromising power.

karizma zmr is only for demonstration not for sale there is not even a single piece onthe roads of mp.why?

Karizma zmr it is beauty but its not coming out, i booked on 30th Oct-09 i asked Person in showroom they sed Delivery will start in 2nd week in Feb2010 also he sed that Bookings is closed for first Phase, its very hard to wait after seeing that beauty in showroom, i am really waiting to put my hands on it……..

Bajaj launched DTSi technology 4 years back & now hero honda came with pgmfi, were they sleeping till now. Hero honda was good few years back but now they r no where in the competetion with big names like BAJAJ, YAMAHA, KAVASAKI, TVS, SUZUKI & HONDA

Its milage is 35 to 40, minm 35.
its a trial engine that hero honda rolled out, so not sure what would be the mileage. u can expext 30kmpl maxx….
